About the role
Join Black & McDonald’s Salt Lake City team as a HydroVac Truck Operator, operating specialized hydro‑excavation equipment on construction sites.
Key responsibilities
- Operate HydroVac trucks safely, perform pre‑ and post‑work inspections, and conduct minor equipment maintenance.
- Track and report productivity, follow safety regulations, and collaborate with co‑workers and clients.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of construction‑related experience (preferred).
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work overtime and pass drug screening and motor‑vehicle background checks.
- Ability to read, write, communicate effectively and perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Required skills
- Experience with HydroVac trucks/hydro excavation.
- Class A CDL license.
- Heavy equipment operation.
