Construction Drilling Foreman

About the role

The Construction and Drilling Foreman will lead a small crew in Salt Lake City, UT, ensuring safe and efficient execution of drilling and construction projects. Reporting to the Division Manager/Superintendent, the foreman will coordinate resources, enforce safety policies, and support the division’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies are established, communicated, and implemented on the project.
• Schedule and coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and outages.
• Communicate with Project Managers and support estimating as needed.
• Supervise a crew of 1‑5 employees, prioritize work, and oversee timesheets and paperwork.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce company health, safety, and environment procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years supervising multiple crews and locations in drilling or heavy‑equipment construction.
• Class A CDL (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Demonstrated safety performance record and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer and project management.
• Ability to support job estimates and quantity take‑offs.

Required skills

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of drilling techniques (rock drilling, slurry methods, casing, vibratory methods).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
