HVAC Installer Apprentice

About the role

Logan Services is seeking an HVAC Installer Apprentice to join its Columbus team. You will work alongside experienced Lead Installers, learning to install and replace residential heating and cooling systems while gaining hands‑on experience in the trade.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with installation and replacement of residential HVAC systems.
• Transport, organize, and stage tools, equipment, and materials at job sites.
• Follow safety procedures when handling electrical components, refrigerants, and heavy equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and company vehicles.
• Document materials used and jobsite information as required.

Required profile

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn from experienced HVAC professionals.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in how things work.
• Ability to work in physically demanding indoor and outdoor environments.
• Professional communication skills and respectful attitude in customers' homes.

Required skills

• Basic HVAC installation techniques.
• Use of hand and power tools.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for HVAC systems.
