Senior Architectural Draftsperson / Designer (Remote)

About the role

Outsourcing Advantage is seeking a senior Architectural Draftsperson/Designer to work remotely on residential construction projects for US clients. You will produce high‑quality construction documents and ensure compliance with regional building codes while collaborating with US‑based architects, engineers, and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and produce residential construction documents in AutoCAD, including plans, sections, and fully dimensioned drawings.
• Develop structural layouts and perform basic structural load‑path sizing for residential buildings.
• Create electrical and plumbing riser diagrams.
• Prepare drawing annotations, tags, window/door schedules, and footing details.
• Incorporate redlines, revisions, and ensure drawing set completeness and consistency.
• Coordinate deliverables to align with New York State residential building code (New Jersey code familiarity a plus).

Required profile

• Senior architect with 7+ years of experience drafting residential construction documents in AutoCAD.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff, lead teams, and manage project budgets and timelines.
• Fluent English (CEFR C1) with ability to provide a brief voice introduction.
• Portfolio or work samples of residential drafting projects.
• Details of equipment setup, power backup, and reliable internet connection.
