Human Resources Generalist

About the role

A staffing partner is looking for an HR Generalist to join a growing company in Jupiter, Florida. The role covers a wide range of HR functions, from employee relations and benefits to onboarding, performance management and an intern program, and suits someone ready to take ownership and build relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Act as a key resource for employee relations, interpret HR policies, address workplace concerns and support issue resolution.
• Coordinate employee benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability and 401(k) plans.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and workplace regulations.
• Lead the internship program, covering onboarding, mentorship, professional development, social events, travel arrangements and project assignments.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee information and data integrity within the HRIS.
• Work with leadership on developing and revising HR policies and procedures.
• Facilitate performance management, including annual reviews, performance improvement plans and disciplinary processes.
• Support employee training, learning and professional development.
• Assist with compensation planning, market benchmarking, salary reviews and merit increases.
• Oversee leave of absence, including FMLA, short- and long-term disability and other leave programs.
• Conduct internal workplace investigations and document findings objectively.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and compile HR reports and workforce metrics for leadership.
• Provide additional HR and administrative support as needed.
