Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will support the HR operations at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, a Discovery Land Company location near Nashville, TN. Working closely with the site HR Manager, you will manage recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and HR administration for a campus of 300+ employees.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and process related transactions.
• Coordinate new‑hire onboarding, orientation, and paperwork; manage off‑boarding processes.
• Partner with hiring managers on full‑life‑cycle recruiting, including job postings, screenings, interviews, offers, background checks, and reference checks.
• Develop and administer employee recognition programs and support all‑hands meetings.
• Assist with performance review cycles and annual compensation adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local employment laws, including wage‑hour and FLSA regulations.
• Provide employee‑relations support, workers’ compensation administration, and conduct internal investigations as needed.
• Respond to HR inquiries via the HR email box and support bi‑weekly payroll processing.
• Produce monthly HR reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
• Support various HR and recruiting projects as directed by the HR Manager or senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience in the club or hospitality industry is preferred.
