Human Resources Representative – Associate New Jersey VIC Program

About the role

Parsons is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Representative Associate to join the New Jersey VIC (NJVIC) program. The role supports the HR department across 26 locations, handling recruitment, onboarding and employee relations in a fast‑paced, union environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication among HR representatives, managers, and candidates to streamline the hiring process.
• Oversee candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
• Maintain a steady flow of candidates to meet ongoing staffing requirements.
• Foster a positive candidate experience and professional relationships.
• Support coordination and delivery of new employee orientation.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of NJVIC union culture, values, and work environment.
• Generate internal reports, compile data, and maintain staffing records.
• Collaborate with HR, candidates, and managers to deliver seamless HR support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 1–2 years of HR experience, including recruitment and talent management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, especially on talent management issues.
• Ability to handle confidential assignments in a fast‑paced, highly visible union setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with Workday (desired).
