Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to partner with our business units and provide day‑to‑day HR support. The role will handle employee relations, onboarding, leave administration, and compliance while ensuring HR practices align with company policies and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and procedures for assigned regions.
• Support performance management, compensation, employee engagement, and succession planning.
• Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding processes and maintain accurate employment records.
• Manage the Leave of Absence program, including payroll entry and employee education.
• Assist talent acquisition, recruitment, and learning‑management/training initiatives.
• Respond to requests from law enforcement, legal counsel, and verification agencies.
• Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and handbooks for consistency and compliance.
• Collect and report monthly HR metrics and support audits and investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 3+ years of HR experience with solid knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to adapt in a changing environment.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.
• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus, but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR technologies (HRIS, payroll systems).
• Competence in standard office and collaboration software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
