About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator provides high‑level administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Jenner & Block, a global law firm. This role ensures the HR function runs smoothly by managing daily requests, calendars, and communications, while contributing to strategic projects.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively manage the CHRO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and prioritize email inbox.
- Take accurate meeting notes, track project assignments, and follow up on critical tasks.
- Prepare, document, and process expense reports.
- Coordinate agendas for meetings with Managing Partners and the COO.
- Receive, track, and organize documentation for HR processes such as remote‑work requests, spot bonuses, compliance notices, and onboarding participant lists.
- Support the HR leadership team in maintaining timelines and ensuring deliverables are met.
Required profile
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and support senior HR leadership.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard office productivity tools (e.g., calendar and email management).
- Experience preparing and processing expense reports.
- Ability to take clear meeting minutes and manage project documentation.
