HR Recruiter - Tyler Union

About the role

The Tyler Union and M&H Valve Group, a division of McWane, Inc., is looking for a Human Resources Recruiter to support talent acquisition for the foundry. The role covers skilled trades, hourly production team members, supervisors, technical roles and management positions, working with site HR managers and operations. It is a salaried non-exempt position based in Anniston, AL, with an office setting and occasional plant visits.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, post openings on internal and external job boards, and develop job descriptions
• Screen resumes, run interviews, coordinate assessments and set up onsite interviews and tours
• Source candidates through job boards, community outreach, trade schools, unions and social media, and build pipelines for high-turnover roles
• Take part in job fairs and hiring events, and maintain relationships with workforce development organizations, technical schools and staffing partners
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and handle pre-employment steps such as background checks, drug screens and physicals
• Maintain recruiting records in the ATS and stay compliant with employment laws
• Support workforce planning, provide labor market insights, help with onboarding and assist with HR training and orientation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development or a related field
• 2-5 years of recruitment experience in a heavy manufacturing industry
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop and balance, and to lift up to 30 pounds; PPE is required in the plant
