HR Director of Call Center Operations

About the role

Centerfield is seeking an operational, high‑velocity HR Director to lead people operations across its fast‑paced, multi‑site US call‑center network. In this remote, senior role you will shape workforce strategy, drive employee retention and ensure strict compliance while partnering closely with site leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR strategic partner to Call Center Site Directors and Operations Managers, coaching supervisors on feedback, accountability and retention tactics.
• Lead, mentor and elevate a distributed team of HR Partners, establishing SOPs and response SLAs for consistent support across all shifts.
• Partner with Operations to design and execute end‑to‑end talent acquisition strategies, managing the dedicated recruiting team and meeting headcount and training class targets.
• Oversee high‑volume employee relations, conduct investigations, and maintain multi‑state wage‑and‑hour compliance for hourly non‑exempt staff.
• Analyze turnover and early‑tenure attrition, develop retention initiatives and govern headcount to align with production goals.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive HR experience in high‑volume operational environments such as call centers or fulfillment.
• Proven ability to manage and develop HR Partners and Talent Acquisition professionals.
• Deep expertise in employee relations, structured investigations and multi‑state compliance for hourly teams.
• Strong analytical skills to leverage recruiting and turnover metrics for retention strategies.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution and influencing abilities across all organizational levels.
• Agile problem‑solver comfortable navigating fast‑moving operational escalations.
