Healthcare Recruiter – Licensed Behavior Analyst Specialist

About the role

The Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) Recruiter is a specialized HR professional responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring qualified Licensed Behavior Analysts to support ABA therapy service delivery across NYC, Long Island, and Westchester County.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies, post job listings, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for LBAs.
• Guide BCBAs through the LBA licensure pathway, coordinate accreditation support, and track progress.
• Facilitate Medicaid provider enrollment for new LBAs, maintain enrollment records, and ensure compliance with timelines.
• Maintain a master tracking system for license expirations, Medicaid revalidations, and continuing‑education requirements, sending proactive renewal reminders.
• Enter and update LBA data in the HRIS, generate reports on headcount and credential status, and correct data discrepancies.
• Provide ad‑hoc HR support, assist with audits, and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting, credentialing, provider enrollment, or HR operations, preferably in behavioral health or ABA settings.
• Familiarity with New York State LBA licensure requirements and Medicaid enrollment processes.
• Strong organizational, project‑management, and communication skills with a focus on zero‑defect credentialing.

Required skills

• HRIS administration (experience with Zoho or similar platforms).
• Spreadsheet tracking tools and data‑management proficiency.
• Knowledge of Medicaid provider enrollment procedures.
