HR Business Partner / Generalist – Luxury Retail (Maternity Cover)

About the role
This temporary position supports a leading luxury retail brand during a maternity leave period, running from now until January 2027. The HR Business Partner/Generalist will work across both store and head‑office teams, covering more than 100 employees in the United States and Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers and staff.
- Support organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Lead recruitment efforts for store and head‑office positions.
- Maintain HR records and reporting for a geographically dispersed workforce.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist.
- Previous experience in retail, preferably within a luxury fashion environment.
- Proven ability to handle HR functions for a workforce of 100+ employees across the US and Canada.
- Experience covering maternity or other temporary HR assignments.
