Housekeeping Inspector

About the role

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is hiring a Housekeeping Inspector for its Housekeeping department. The inspector supervises room attendants and housemen, checks that rooms and areas meet standards, and keeps the team aligned with guest needs. Weekend and holiday work is required, and hours depend on the house count and seniority.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect room attendants' performance and hold them accountable when needed
• Walk the floors regularly to make sure every area meets standards
• Give daily positive and constructive feedback to team members
• Keep open communication with managers about guest and room issues
• Follow up on guest requests and make sure they are completed
• Track team member performance and give managers accurate results
• Work on projects as needed and assist with weekly meetings

Required profile

• Supervisory experience required
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift more than 41 lbs in various positions (overhead, floor to waist, grasping, push/pull, carrying)
• Good judgment, leadership skills and attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure with a positive attitude and to follow instructions and meet deadlines

• Property management systems (OPERA, HotSos)
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Data entry and intermediate typing speed
• Driver's license required
