Housekeeping Associate - Male Locker Room

About the role

Midtown is looking for a Housekeeping Associate for its male locker room, working the PM shift. The position pays $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience. Housekeepers are described as the heartbeat of the club's operations, keeping the club presentable and prepared so members and guests have a clean, safe and functional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitized club space using established daily checklists
• Keep studio, tennis courts, fitness floor, café, locker rooms and other specified club spaces clean and orderly
• Assist with laundry by loading washers and dryers and folding towels (must be able to lift approximately 40+ lbs)
• Keep the supply area and closet organized and tidy
• Handle indoor and outdoor club cleanliness, including emptying trash and towel bins, high dusting, window cleaning and mopping

Required profile

• Keen eye for detail and ability to handle vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sweeping
• Experience washing and folding laundry
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to push carts up to 250 pounds
