Hotel Maintenance Engineer II - Universal Orlando

About the role

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is hiring an Engineer II for AM/PM and overnight shifts. The role covers preventative maintenance, daily repairs and ongoing room maintenance across guest rooms, meeting rooms, food and beverage outlets, public spaces and back-of-house areas.

Key responsibilities

• Handle preventative maintenance, daily repairs and maintenance requests for meeting rooms, guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, public spaces and back of house.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, flooring and ceiling work.
• Run the ongoing room preventive maintenance program.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Basic English communication skills.
• Strong mechanical background with at least 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests.
