Hotel Driver

About the role

Loews Chicago O'Hare, situated between downtown Chicago and O'Hare International Airport, is looking for a courteous, safety-focused driver to provide reliable transportation for guests and team members. Drivers operate hotel vehicles, assist with luggage and ensure every ride is comfortable, timely and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous transportation for guests and team members using hotel vehicles.
• Assist guests with luggage handling and loading/unloading, and offer umbrellas or help in bad weather.
• Maintain knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns and attractions, and give recommendations when asked.
• Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs for airport transfers, events and local destinations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled and stocked with amenities such as water and maps.
• Follow traffic laws and hotel safety protocols, and keep a valid driver's license and certifications.
• Greet guests warmly, confirm destinations and special requests, and escalate complex issues to leadership.
• Communicate delays or changes promptly and log mileage, fuel usage and trip details in property systems.
• Support special events and VIP transportation needs as directed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a driver in hospitality or transportation services preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL or passenger endorsement may be required for certain vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of local area and traffic regulations.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Varying schedules may be required to reflect business needs.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate GPS and navigation systems.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
