Host/Hostess - Food and Beverage

About the role

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is looking for a Host/Hostess for its Food and Beverage department. This is a seasonal position reporting to the Manager and Assistant Managers, with shifts that vary by location and can include breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Key responsibilities

• Support management staff in daily operations and help with day-to-day operations.
• Uphold service standards within a motivated, guest-focused team.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond to them promptly.
• Communicate well with guests and staff, keeping staff numbers accurate and fair.
• Manage time effectively and adjust to changes made during the day.

Required profile

• Natural ability to anticipate guest needs, a sincere desire to please, and a friendly attitude.
• High energy, intelligence, pride, and the ability to change and progress.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
