Hospitalist – 12‑hour shifts in Palestine, TX

About the role

TeamHealth is seeking a Hospitalist to join the inpatient team at Palestine Regional Medical Center in Palestine, Texas. The position offers 12‑hour day shifts (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) providing comprehensive hospital medicine care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient care for an average of 15 patients per day, including admission, daily management, and discharge planning.
• Respond to emergency codes and provide critical care support in a 10‑bed open intensive care unit.
• Collaborate with specialty services such as cardiology, interventional radiology, nephrology, orthopedics, and others to coordinate patient care.
• Work without procedural responsibilities, focusing on medical management and team communication.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Ability to work 12‑hour day shifts and handle a high‑volume inpatient service.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
