About the role
BAYADA Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to support clients and families facing terminal illness in the Boyertown, PA area. Volunteers assist with home management, companionship, and emotional support.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with home management tasks and provide caregiver relief.
- Offer companionship, friendship, and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Support specialty areas such as veteran-to-veteran support, Reiki, massage, pet therapy, crafts, and end‑of‑life doula services.
- Help with transport escort, clerical work, memorial service planning, and bereavement support.
Required profile
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and compliance with state volunteer requirements.
- Meet BAYADA and state regulations for any professional services offered.
