Home Intensive Care Unit LPN – Pediatric

About the role

BAYADA is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join its Home Intensive Care Unit (HICU) team, providing hospital‑level care to infants and young children transitioning from hospital to home in the Pittsburgh area. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering skilled nursing services directly in patients’ homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in their homes, acting as an extension of the hospital care team.
• Train and support families on care procedures, including infusion, tracheostomy, and ventilator management during the initial weeks of home care.

Required profile

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• At least one year of verifiable LPN experience, preferably in NICU, PICU, ICU, or home care trach/vent settings.

Required skills

• Competence in infusion therapy.
• Proficiency with tracheostomy and ventilator care.
• Experience in NICU, PICU, or ICU environments.
