Registered Nurse – HICU Night Shift

About the role

The HICU® Health Services Hospital at Home Nurse works as part of a team‑based environment, extending hospital care to infants and young children transitioning to home in the Pittsburgh area. This full‑time night shift position provides skilled nursing care, family training, and ongoing support during the initial weeks of home care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients at home.
• Provide extensive training to families on care procedures and equipment.
• Collaborate with the hospital care team to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• At least one year of verifiable LPN experience.
• Experience in NICU, PICU, ICU, or home care tracheostomy/ventilator settings.

Required skills

• Competence in infusion therapy.
• Proficiency with tracheostomy and ventilator care (home or lab demonstrated).
