Home Health Aide (PCA) – Flexible Shifts

About the role

BAYADA is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide personal care, household support, and companionship to adults living at home in the Asheville area. You will follow a nurse‑written plan of care and help clients maintain independence and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and offer medication reminders.
• Support range‑of‑motion exercises and ambulation, using mechanical lifting devices when needed.

Required profile

• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Commitment to deliver care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
• Previous home health or patient care experience is welcome but not required; training will be provided.
