About the role
Join BAYADA as a Home Health Aide to provide personal care, household support, and companionship to adults living at home. You will follow a nurse‑written plan of care and help clients maintain safety and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and meal preparation.
- Support range‑of‑motion exercises, ambulation, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Offer medication reminders and companion care.
Required profile
- Passion for caregiving and desire to help others.
- Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
- Commitment to deliver quality, compassionate care.
Required skills
- Basic personal care techniques.
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
