About the role
La Lumiere School is seeking a dynamic Science Teacher for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inquiry‑based science instruction to high‑school students, primarily in biology and related disciplines.
Key responsibilities
- Teach five class sections each semester, covering courses such as Biology, AP Biology, Environmental Science, and Earth Science.
- Sponsor or supervise a co‑curricular activity across two seasons.
- Serve as an advisor to a group of approximately eight students.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Three or more years of secondary‑level teaching experience (preferred).
- Experience mentoring or coaching students outside the classroom (preferred).
