High School English Tutor

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking enthusiastic High School English teachers to provide in‑home tutoring aligned with the Florida curriculum. You will create personalized learning plans and support student success through both remedial and enrichment instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver academic support based on the Florida curriculum.
• Develop customized learning plans that emphasize understanding over memorization.
• Provide remedial assistance and enrichment challenges as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress, challenges, and achievements.

Required profile

• Current, valid registration with the Florida Department of Education or a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• Passion for teaching, student success, and a commitment to excellence.
• Experience as a lecturer or instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university is a plus.
