About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute as an Experienced Registered Nurse caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. You will work on a rotating day/night schedule in a high‑acuity step‑down unit, collaborating with a nationally recognized multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic cardiovascular services, including assessments, documentation, and medication administration.
Coordinate care plans with patients, families, and the health‑care team, and facilitate discharge planning.
Perform telephone triage, call rotations, and cover other nursing roles as needed.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
At least one year of acute‑care RN experience (military RN experience considered).
Basic Life Support certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within two months of hire.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
