HealthShare Engineer – Remote

About the role

VetsEZ is seeking a HealthShare Engineer to support a large federal government healthcare modernization project. This 100% remote position focuses on production support, automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure reliability for InterSystems HealthShare and related middleware.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation strategies for operations and software delivery, maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide Tier 3 support for HealthShare applications, including installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance.
• Manage backup, recovery, patching, ADFS integrations, and certificate administration across environments.
• Support OAuth and Single Sign‑On implementations and collaborate in a DevSecOps‑focused Agile team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience with 3–5 years IT/Federal contracting experience.
• At least 2 years of production support experience, preferably in VA or large‑scale enterprise middleware environments.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Government/Public Trust clearance.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, or Caché.
• Automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Python.
• CI/CD process development, Unix/Linux and Apache environments.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of ADFS, OAuth, Single Sign‑On, and certificate management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
