Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Guest Service Agent greets, registers, and assists guests in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring compliance with hotel brand and sustainability standards. This role supports front‑desk operations and contributes to overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, register them, assign rooms, and verify payment methods.
• Make and confirm reservations, compute bills, collect payments, and handle change.
• Transmit and receive messages via telephone or PMS system.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or deposit boxes.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks such as balancing accounts and conducting audits.
• Assist in the breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods.
• Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of property management system (PMS) platforms.
