Growth & Transformation Manager

About the role

Moog’s Space & Defense Group in Western New York is seeking a Growth & Transformation Manager to lead modern factory, automation, and innovation initiatives. The role focuses on preparing the Propulsion Systems Business Unit for rapid production ramps, ensuring operational readiness, and driving manufacturing innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the readiness pipeline for new production ramps, transitions, and rate capability.
• Lead transformation, readiness, and manufacturing innovation projects across value streams.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to align systems, people, equipment, and data infrastructure.
• Implement Lean Management System progression and structured problem‑solving methods.
• Coordinate supply‑chain readiness and support non‑recurring engineering (NRE) activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing operations.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated leadership in operational readiness, Lean, and structured problem solving.
• Proven track record of stabilizing processes and improving performance through systematic approaches.
• Ability to influence without authority and drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
