Growth Content Engineer

About the role

Railway is looking for a Growth Content Engineer to own and improve the discoverability of our technical content across search and agentic platforms. You will combine writing expertise with engineering to create high‑impact assets that help developers understand and use Railway.

Key responsibilities

• Research and report on current performance in SEO, AEO, and LLM chat to identify content gaps.
• Engineer content across owned assets to boost conventional and agentic search visibility.
• Build standalone app examples that demonstrate Railway’s capabilities to users and LLMs.
• Improve documentation and blog ranking by writing guides and refining site architecture.
• Own technical site performance end‑to‑end, enhancing searchability.

Required profile

• Strong, clear written communication style.
• Ability to analyze data from AEO tools and user trends to guide content strategy.
• Passion for Railway’s product and ability to convey its value to developers.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to prioritize in an early‑stage startup.

Required skills

• Knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of SEO and agentic search (AEO) principles.
• Experience creating technical documentation and educational content.
