Group Manager - Procurement Services

About the role

The Group Manager – Procurement Services leads a client‑dedicated procurement team, focusing on marketing category planning, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. The role involves driving cost savings while ensuring quality and service levels for a global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing medium to long‑term strategies for various marketing sub‑categories.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies, including RFIs/RFPs, bid evaluation, and negotiation.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through negotiations, event‑driven activities, and alternate sourcing.
• Lead commercial negotiations, draft contracts, and make award recommendations.
• Support category managers in supplier performance, risk mitigation, and quality improvement.
• Act as escalation point for source‑to‑contract issues and resolve operational challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of procurement, contracts, or sourcing experience.
• At least 3 years of marketing procurement experience.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.
• Experience in BPO or customer‑service environments is a plus.
