Group Analyst

About the role

The Group Analyst supports sales, revenue management and operations by preparing and analysing group leads and revenue reports to help maximise hotel revenue and forecasts.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming group leads and RFPs, calculate optimal quotes using historical data, displacement analysis and market demand.
• Manage and modify MAR rates in the sales system, ensuring accurate pricing floors for the sales team.
• Prepare and distribute sales and revenue reports, including market segmentation, pace, group forecast and budget tools.
• Audit and maintain systems such as the Sales System, PMS and Profit Source in collaboration with sales teams.
• Track group block pickup versus actualised rooms, identify under‑performing groups and work with sales managers to mitigate wash.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of revenue management experience, preferably in the NYC market.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent time‑management abilities.
• Ability to investigate, analyse information and draw conclusions.

Required skills

• Revenue management tools (STAR, Hotel Intelligence).
• Sales System, Property Management System (PMS) and Profit Source system.
• Group lead evaluation and displacement analysis.
