Guest Service Agent

About the role

Provide friendly, courteous service to guests at Moxy NYC Downtown, handling check‑in, reservations, payments and guest requests while upholding brand and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, register them, assign rooms and verify payment methods.
• Make and confirm reservations, compute bills, collect payments and provide change.
• Handle guest requests promptly, resolve complaints or escalate to a supervisor.
• Secure valuables in hotel safe or deposit boxes and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Assist in the breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods and support overall guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous customer‑service experience or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of property‑management (PMS) systems (preferred).

Required skills

• Familiarity with PMS systems for reservations and guest management.
