Greensperson - Golf Maintenance

About the role

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is hiring a Greensperson for its Golf Maintenance department. The position starts on or around April 13, 2026, with normal working hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday, with a seniority rotation on weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Mow greens, fairways, tees, roughs and collars, and perform trim mowing and detail trimming
• Water, fertilize, groom and topdress the course, rake bunkers and roll greens
• Change cups and markers, and mark courses for tournament play
• Follow all safety policies and meet the performance standards of the Golf Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures
• Take part in hotel training such as orientation, re-orientation, CPR certification and departmental sessions, and use professional language with guests and coworkers

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• One year of employment on a golf course or turf-related area preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Able to operate a greensmower safely and satisfactorily
• High character, able to get along with others, enthusiastic and energetic, and able to follow verbal and written instructions
