Global Test Equipment Engineer

About the role

Moog is seeking a Global Test Equipment Engineer to lead the sustainment strategy and performance improvement of its test equipment portfolio across Original Equipment, Aftermarket, and Aircraft Control Components business units. The role works in a hybrid setting from Buffalo, NY, collaborating with global sites and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global test equipment replacement and upgrade strategies.
• Provide inputs for technology roadmaps addressing obsolescence, maintainability, and evolving requirements.
• Partner with sustainment, operations, and product engineering teams to analyze equipment issues and drive reliability improvements.
• Support lifecycle management, including obsolescence planning and performance monitoring.
• Travel to Moog and aftermarket sites worldwide to align initiatives and support implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
• Significant experience in test equipment engineering, design, or sustainment within aerospace or a regulated industry.
• Proven project engineering or technical program leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical and automated test systems, flight‑control electronics, and data acquisition.
• Experience working across multiple global sites and willingness to travel up to 25% initially.
