General Supervisor – Warehouse Operations

About the role

As a Warehouse Operations General Supervisor at 3M, you will lead a team of professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant warehousing and supply‑chain activities supporting manufacturing plants, R&D, and distribution centers.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure EHS practices are followed and promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor and direct associates to receive, store, and ship products according to SOPs and compliance.
• Develop and manage annual operational budgets and forecasts.
• Track daily/weekly operational performance and implement corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with 3M Corporate Transportation and Distribution Operations to improve carrier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (verified before start).
• Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse or distribution operations.
• Current, valid driver’s license and willingness to be on‑call.
• Experience working in a union environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data‑mining capabilities.
• Strong background with ERP/SAP/EWM systems.
• Budget management and KPI monitoring.
