GCSS-MC Consultant – Government Clearance Eligible

About the role

Navaide seeks a GCSS-MC Subject Matter Expert to provide functional and advisory support to the Marine Corps GCSS-MC user community. This on‑site position is based in Quantico, VA, and requires residence in the Quantico/NCR area.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the functional SME for GCSS-MC, guiding end users, unit administrators, and staff on system processes, transactions, and business rules.
• Analyze user‑reported issues, develop practical solutions, and create SOPs, quick reference guides, and training materials.
• Support functional testing, UAT, and system validation for configuration changes, upgrades, or new capabilities.
• Provide SME support for GCSS-MC financial management functions, including obligation management, expenditure processing, and fund control.
• Assist users with supply chain and maintenance functions such as demand management, inventory control, and equipment readiness reporting.
• Act as liaison between end users and technical teams, communicating operational needs and recommending process improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on experience with GCSS-MC in financial management or supply/maintenance.
• Active DoD clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Local candidate residing in Quantico, VA/NCR and able to work on‑site.
• Proven ability to communicate complex processes to users of varying proficiency.

Required skills

• GCSS-MC functional expertise (financial management or supply/maintenance).
• Knowledge of DoD financial and logistics processes.
