Gastroenterology Position in St. Petersburg, FL

About the role

BayCare Medical Group is hiring two board‑certified or board‑eligible gastroenterologists to join its team at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. The position offers a supportive environment with an established referral base and the chance to perform a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology care with a rotating call schedule of 16 shifts.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Participate in ERCP cases when trained; ERCP experience is a plus.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Required profile

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Eligibility to obtain a Florida medical license.
• New graduates and experienced physicians are both encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) training or experience.
