About the role
CompHealth is seeking board‑certified Gastroenterology Physicians for a full‑time locum assignment in Harker Heights. The role includes weekend call, rounding, and a variety of endoscopic procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Provide rounding and on‑call coverage, including weekend call.
- Perform upper and lower endoscopy, small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy.
- Perform advanced procedures such as ERCP, PEG, and EUS when needed.
Required profile
- Board‑certified (BC) gastroenterology required.
- Willing to wait for license.
- Weekend call availability.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Credentialing and DEA license needed.
Required skills
- Upper and lower endoscopy.
- Small bowel biopsy.
- Sigmoidoscopy.
- Colonoscopy.
- ERCP (preferred).
- PEG (preferred).
- EUS (preferred).
- ACLS.
- BLS.
