Future Talent Program – Discovery Oncology Co‑op (2027)

About the role

The Future Talent Program offers a 6‑month co‑op in Discovery Oncology, where you will work on biochemical and cell‑based assays to characterize new therapeutic targets and molecules.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, interpret and report in‑vitro experiments, including proliferation and genomic perturbation assays.
• Develop, troubleshoot and run cell‑based assays such as cancer cell line culture and flow cytometry.
• Communicate data clearly to cross‑functional teams and monitor published literature to guide research.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program in biological sciences or related field (or Ph.D. program for advanced candidates).
• Available full‑time for up to six consecutive months in early‑mid 2027 and enrolled in a co‑op program.
• Strong interest in oncology drug discovery and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Basic laboratory techniques: pipetting, solution preparation, plate assays.
• Mammalian cell culture and cancer cell line handling.
• Experience with proliferation assays, flow cytometry and genomic perturbation techniques.
• Data analysis and bioinformatics data extraction, integration and interpretation.
