Full‑Time Respiratory Therapist

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a full‑time Respiratory Therapist to join its Cardiopulmonary Department. The therapist works under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Manager and Medical Director, providing diagnostic testing, patient education, and treatment while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and cardiopulmonary procedures according to medical center policies and governing bodies.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and charge capture for each exam or procedure.
• Participate in quality‑assurance programs, preventative maintenance, and departmental policy updates.
• Stock and manage inventory, cover shifts as needed, and provide front‑desk support when required.

Required profile

• Completed an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and hold a current Montana state license.
• Possess certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, handle stress, and operate independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and electronic medical records.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
