Full‑Time Home Health Physical Therapist

About the role

Join BAYADA as a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist providing 1:1 care to patients in the comfort of their own homes across Springfield, MO and surrounding areas. This full‑time position offers a $30,000 retention bonus for eligible candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes to assess and treat injuries, illnesses, surgeries, or post‑hospitalization needs.
• Perform diagnostic tests, range‑of‑motion measurements, strength, balance, and safety assessments.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans that include manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions.
• Educate clients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote independence and safety.
• Document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a tablet‑based system.

Required profile

• Active, current Physical Therapist license.
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred; home health experience welcomed but not required.
• Ability to travel locally to assigned client locations.

Required skills

• Conduct mobility, strength, and balance assessments.
• Implement manual therapeutic exercises and gait training.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans.
