About the role

We are seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join a small community health centre in Seward, Alaska. The position offers a steady 4‑day, 10‑hour schedule with no on‑call duties, allowing you to provide comprehensive primary care in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary care services to individuals and families, including acute and chronic condition management.
• Conduct physical examinations, perform minor procedures, and provide patient education.
• Coordinate referrals and follow‑up care, ensuring continuity of treatment.
• Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and current Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Active Alaska RN/NP license.
• Minimum 5 years of primary‑care experience, with at least 3 years in a rural setting.
• Experience in women’s health and pediatrics is preferred.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning.
• Management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
