Full-Time Caregiver with Benefits (CNA or HCA)

About the role

Journey Nursing Services is seeking full-time caregivers (CNA or HCA) to provide hands‑on patient care in homes, facilities, or adult family homes. The role includes on‑call rotation and supports a holistic, patient‑centered approach.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in on‑call caregiver rotation and provide care at the assigned location.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, follow individualized care plans, and perform delegated tasks like vital signs and weight checks.
• Promote skin integrity, maintain safety and infection‑control procedures, and lift up to 50 lb using proper mechanics.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNA or HCA license for Washington State (or willingness to complete on‑site training).
• Good standing with Washington DSHS Background Check System.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation if providing client transport.

Required skills

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb and perform safe patient handling.
