About the role

The Pleasanton Unified School District is seeking a full‑time 1st Grade teacher (1.0 FTE) for Mohr Elementary School. This position involves delivering instruction to 1st‑grade students and contributing to a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lessons across core subjects for 1st‑grade students.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain classroom management and a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support district initiatives.

Required profile

• Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
• Bachelor’s degree (transcript required); postgraduate coursework if applicable.
• Letter of introduction and resume.
• Three professional references.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
