Front End Engineer – Analyst

About the role

EY's Financial Services Organization (FSO) is hiring Front End Engineers for its Technology Service Delivery Center in Raleigh, NC (other locations available in the region). The team delivers technology project-based work and managed services to clients, helping them modernize customer-facing systems, processes and products into intuitive, responsive and accessible digital experiences. The role is fast-paced and requires flexibility and the ability to learn rapidly changing technology.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients solve business problems through frontend engineering solutions.
• Analyze business and user experience requirements with engagement teams.
• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy and support responsive web applications.
• Deliver systems focused on usability, accessibility, reliability, performance and customer experience.
• Work within an agile methodology, covering requirements, design, development, integration and testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in technology software development.
• Experience building web applications and user interfaces, including reusable frontend components.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Required skills

• Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web development.
• State management (NgRx, Redux, Context API or similar).
• Unit and component testing (Jest, Jasmine, Karma, React Testing Library) and end-to-end testing (Cypress or Playwright).
• Git, npm or Yarn, and CI/CD practices.
• Node.js tooling, Webpack or Vite, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and micro frontend architecture.
• Web accessibility, cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
