French Teacher (World Language) – Full-Time

About the role

Edina Public Schools is seeking a full‑time French Teacher for Valley View Middle School. The position begins on August 24, 2026 and involves delivering all instruction in French to middle‑school students as part of the district’s World Language program.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess French language curriculum for grades 6‑8.
• Create engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and immersion goals.
• Provide feedback and support to help students develop fluency and cultural understanding.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance the language program.

Required profile

• Valid French teaching license issued by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).
