French Teacher (195-Day Full-Time)

About the role

Patriot High School is seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join our faculty for a 195‑day full‑time schedule. The successful candidate will deliver engaging French language instruction to high school students, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess French language curriculum for one or multiple grade levels.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress, evaluate achievement, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with department colleagues and school administrators to align teaching practices with school goals.
• Participate in school duties such as supervising labs or extracurricular activities when required.

Required profile

• Ability to work on‑site in person at Patriot HS in Nokesville, VA.
• Full‑time availability for a 195‑day academic year.
• Experience teaching French at the secondary level or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to follow guidance from the principal and designated administrators.
