About the role

The Department of Management at Texas State University’s McCoy College of Business invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Management position beginning Fall 2027. The role focuses on high‑quality research in management and supply‑chain domains, teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, and contributing to departmental service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality research in management and supply‑chain topics, aiming for publication in top peer‑reviewed journals.
• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in management and supply‑chain management, both on‑site and potentially online.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities appropriate to the rank.
• Support university initiatives and contribute to the growth of the department’s research profile.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field from an AACSB‑accredited institution by the date of hire.
• Demonstrated record of, or strong potential for, publishing in high‑quality, peer‑reviewed business journals.
• Experience teaching supply‑chain management courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• Evidence of service activities commensurate with the rank.
